Art at Blue Back

Blue Back Square is proud to be a community hub of West Hartford. We’re excited to invigorate the space with updated art featuring bold and bright colors, sculpture, and more while blending in the timeless New England features for which our community is known. Art at Blue Back Square features installations from all across West Hartford. Stay tuned for more updates to come!

Blue Back Square is proud to partner with RiseUP CT to bring more murals to life at the property. In an effort to showcase a variety of local talent and style throughout the outdoor center, RiseUP has tapped local artists to create murals, paint window storefronts and to create ‘Instagrammable’ moments at the property, which will serve as beautiful, colorful public art for all to enjoy throughout the season. A mural on the property facing Raymond Road was completed with Jillian Goeler which consists of a ‘Welcome to Blue Back Square’ messaging which is eye-catching, fun and inspiring to all who walk by to admire it. Also, an Instagrammable CT mural was painted by Julie Bergeron and some rotating murals on windows, designed to capture guests in the moment - having fun at the property, engaging in the artwork and tagging friends to do the same.
